Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist) to join our dynamic team. As a therapist at OpenMinds, you will specialize in providing individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and young adults, employing a client-centered and outcomes-driven approach. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Essential Functions Include:
Providing evidence-based individual therapy to address various mental health concerns among adolescents and young adults.
Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine client needs.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
Collaborating with families, caregivers, and relevant providers to support overall client well-being.
Participating in agency meetings, training sessions, consultations, and supervision meetings.
Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Accurately inputting relevant CPT codes for insurance billing.
Contributing to the development and enhancement of therapeutic programs and interventions.
Staying updated with best practices and advancements in the mental health field.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be licensed in the State of California: Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Professional Counseling, or a related field.
Must be willing to credential with insurance networks (ex. Anthem, Blue Shield, Cigna, etc) with our support
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Experience in individual therapy with adolescents and young adults (experience with group and family therapy is a plus).
Bilingual and bicultural skills are a plus.
Experience with LGBTQ+ populations is a plus.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to see a minimum of 21 clients per week.
